ABOUT:
iamlam is a textile-based project that started in 2020 during the COVID-19 pandemic. It is rooted in past-down matriarchal family traditions and initially inspired by photographs and memories. While these ideas remain central, the focus of this project has shifted to exploring the material qualities of fibres, especially colour, texture, production, and quality. The choice to create wearable pieces reflects a passion for clothing and design that lends to the practical qualities of natural fibers and the extremely special experience of finding a one-of-a-kind, hand-made piece, that makes you feel magical when you wear it.
