Through many years spent fostering a safe and welcoming community, Frock transcended its role as a boutique, becoming a catalyst for many aspiring entrepreneurs. In 2022, Cathryn passed away, but her impact on the Toronto fashion scene continues to resonate throughout the city. Now led by Cathryn’s husband, Jim Pauk, Frock begins its newest phase, extending its distinctive principles and personal encounters to a broader audience.

The Frock Story
The name 'Frock' was inspired by a memorable moment Cathryn experienced in Negril, Jamaica in the early 1990s. While riding her white bicycle named Elaine, a gust of wind lifted her dress, catching the attention of a young local boy who urgently shouted, 'Miss! Miss! Pull over!' Concerned for her modesty, the boy earnestly advised her, “Miss, you MUST sit on your frock!” A decade later, this heartwarming memory became the inspiration for naming Cathryn's boutique.
