After much consideration, I have come to the difficult decision that, after 23 wonderful years, the time has come to close our doors.
Following the passing of our founder - my wife, Cathryn - four years ago, I committed to carrying on the business for five more years before determining its long-term future. In light of the many challenges small businesses have faced in the years following COVID, I believe it is now prudent to bring Frock to a close this spring.
Beyond the immense loss of Cathryn’s vision, creativity, and experience, there were many obstacles to overcome. I am deeply proud that we were able to carry the torch this far, and I am incredibly grateful for the unwavering support you have shown us over the years.
This decision is a personal one, as a third of Cathryn’s and my lives were devoted to Frock. We cherished the friendships built over time and the community that grew around us. I have been honoured to continue Cathryn’s legacy alongside a truly dedicated team. A special thank you to Melody for leading Frock through its final years, and to Kira for returning when we needed her most.
I look forward to seeing many familiar faces in the neighbourhood in the years ahead.
